France: Paris Temple & Versailles

The next day we went to Versaille and were able to attend the last day of the Paris Temple open house. It is a beautiful temple with lots of gorgeous stained glass details throughout. It also has waterlilies everywhere, which were of course inspired by Monet! You can't take pictures inside but there was this beautiful stained glass of the Savior in the visitor center that gives you an idea of how pretty everything was...

Here is our group waiting to start the tour...

After the tour we got some pics of the outside

After the temple we all headed to the Palace of Versailles (which is only about 10 mins away). It is enormous, very ornate, and has lots and lots of gold!

We first went to grab lunch at the Angelina Cafe, which was really good!

And then we kind of split up to explore on our own for a few hours. Adam and I listened to the Rick Steve's tour to guide us through.

King Louis XIV of France

My favorite was the Hall of Mirrors

And a group shot outside the Palace...

After a long day, we then all drove back to Paris and checked in to our Airbnb. We decided to grab food and take it back to our place so we could relax a bit. It was a great night!
