Halloween Costumes

This year Gigi and Liam wanted to dress up as characters from Star Wars and they even talked us into dressing up as well! It's been a long time since I've dressed up but it was a lot of fun to do a family theme costume. And of course I had to involve Buddy in it too!

So here we are... Chewbacca, Han Solo, Rey, BB-8 and Princess Leia!

Got to have lunch with Elder Mickelsen when my parents came to visit...

The kids school pics!

I ran the Monster Dash half marathon again. I have been working hard on improving my pace and I got a new personal record! My time was 2:13:04 with a pace of 10'09". I really wanted to get my pace under the 10 min mark but I was happy to get a new PR (and I guess there's always next time)!

Carving Pumpkins

This year the kids chose a BB-8 pumpkin since we were all dressing up as characters from Star Wars...

Pumpkin Patch

While my parents were visiting, we went to the pumpkin patch so Gigi and Liam could choose a pumpkin to carve. Going to the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite fall traditions!

Sea Life Aquarium

My parents came to visit us in mid October after they got home from their LDS mission to Hawaii. We had a great time together and it was so nice to see them! We went to the Sea Life Aquarium in the Mall of America and Gigi and Liam both loved looking at all the different kinds of fish.
