Cousin Fun + New Year's

After Christmas, we had to hit up City Creek for some sales! We went with Anne and Mark and took the kids and they were pretty good. Here's Gigi with Caroline, Alli and Kate.

We then headed down to Elk Ridge so we could spend New Year's with my family. My sister Tricia hosted the party this year and she had this cute photo booth set up. Gigi and Liam were pretty tired for this pic, they stayed up a little too late! :)

My brother Evan and his wife Kelly had us over for New Year's day to play games and the kids put together a cute play based off the movie Frozen. They had costumes, dances and everything!

Craw Family Pics

Since Adam's Grandma was in town for Christmas, we had to get a picture of the whole Craw family! I just love how these pics turned out with the snowy backdrop!

Christmas in Utah

We flew to Utah on Christmas Eve morning so we could spend Christmas with Adam's family. I think Gigi and Liam both liked getting to open up presents twice!

Buddy even got a chew toy, which he quickly tore apart in less than a minute!

Daddy with our two Christmas bums!

It was great to spend Christmas with family and with Adam's Grandma. We took pics of the whole family together which I'll post soon. :)

Merry Christmas!

Yuletide Greetings from the Craw family! I hope you all have a
Very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Presents at Home

We went to Utah for Christmas this year so we decided to open up our presents a little early. Here's the best pic i could get of the two of them after they opened up their stockings...

Gigi opening up her fist present...

And of course she loved helping Liam open up his presents too!

 playing with their new toys...

Gigi's Preschool Program

Gigi's preschool had a Christmas program last week where they performed Christmas songs. It was so cute to see her up on stage, even if she didn't sing! Here she is walking up to the stage with her class...

Up on stage getting ready to sing the first song

She loved doing the actions with the other kids, just not singing!

And her favorite part of the program was during "This Little Light of Mine" since she got to 'hold a flashlight and shine it at Daddy'!

And here are a couple videos of some of the performances...

Drummer Boy, she loved playing her drum (don't mind the little boy in front of her picking his nose)!

Christmas Jammies

I'm a big fan of holiday jammies so of course I had to get the kids some this year! Liam is at that hard stage to photograph, he never wants to sit still!

Here's the best pic I got of the two of them sitting together.

The kids love the ornaments on the Christmas tree! Gigi loves to tell me her favorite ones, which are the pink ones of  course. :)

Liam is pretty good with them and mostly likes to point out the blue ones to me. So far, he's only broken one of them (knock on wood!).

I wanted to get pics of each of them, but of course Liam wouldn't sit still long enough so I just have one of Gigi!

I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas

I've always wanted to use pink to decorate for Christmas so this year I decided to go for it, and I love how it turned out! I'm loving bottle brush trees and vintage ornaments, which were both my inspiration this year.
Warning: this post is pic heavy :)

I love the simplicity of all the trees on the mantel, but also how they still make such a statement.

The stockings all hung by the chimney with care :) I got them at Pottery Barn but they are sold out, you can find similar ones here.

I bought a bunch of bottle brush trees and bleached most of them white, then dyed some in different shades of pink. And of course I had to add some glitter to some of them too!

I made the pom pom garland to bring in some more pink and the mercury glass garland is vintage.

The trees I got at Pottery Barn a few years ago (but you can find similar ones here) and they're decorated with vintage ornaments.

More bottle brush trees, which I got here. The banner was made by one of my favorite artists, Britt Bass Turner, and I love the whimsy of it!

The sweet little deer was made by my Grandmother so it's extra meaningful and extra special to me.

More twinkle lights, a little village, and some vintage flocked deer :)

I love Christmas trees. There's something so mesmerizing about sitting next to the twinkling lights at night and it brings back so many happy childhood memories. My favorite spot in the house right now is right next to our Christmas tree.

Most of the ornaments are vintage shiny brite ornaments, but I painted little hearts on the birch slice ornaments.

I also filled these glass ornaments with lots of pretty things -- printed paper, crepe paper, tinsel, sequins and glitter.

and another cute item from Britt Bass Turner, a hand painted ornament!

And the presents! I used silver and gold wrapping paper and wrapped some yarn around them.

I love my festive holiday pillow! And the cute deer blanket was a great little find at Target.

I made the tinsel garland and strung it everywhere...on the tree and on all my picture frames. :) I'm kinda obsessed with it and want to leave it up all year long!

And a view of the room. I really love how it all came together and how it still feels neutral with little pops of pink!

So that's it! I hope you enjoyed the tour. :)
