Georgia Gene "Gigi" arrived Friday Feb 19th at 1:11 am weighing 6 lbs 15 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. After being induced and 18 hours of labor I had to have a C-Section. She was trying to come out sideways so I already know she's got my stubbornness or "independence" as I like to put it!
Both grandmas and Adam's brother came out and Adam and I are so appreciative for all of their help! They cooked for us, cleaned our apartment, helped take care of Gigi and me, helped me go to several doctor's appointments, etc. We couldn't have done it without them! And since I wasn't allowed to drive after my C-Section, Adam's mom was my personal chauffeur for a few weeks. Like me, she now knows her way to every major shopping area in LA!
