New Year's Eve

We had our annual New Year's Eve party at Evan and Kelly's house complete with BBQ ribs from Texas Roadhouse. We also exchanged Christmas presents with everyone and did our Christmas program. Gigi was an angel in the nativity this year...

All the cousins dressed up for the nativity

We then rang in the New Year sans Liam since he was already asleep. We had a great time playing games and spending time with everyone. I love how this has become such a fun family tradition!

Mani-Pedi

While in Utah, Gigi got to go with me and Grandma Craw to get our nails done. She loved getting pampered and of course her favorite thing was the cute little flowers they put on her thumbs! After all the excitement, she fell asleep on the ride home.

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas with Adam's family this year. We were glad that everyone was able to make it to Adam's parents' house for Christmas morning. Here's Gigi who can't wait to start opening up her presents!

All the Craw cousins getting ready to hear that their present from Grandma and Grandpa this year is a trip to Disneyland!

Beach and Vegas

After 3 days of Disneyland, we had to visit the beach! So we drove to Newport beach and took a few pics before hitting the road.

We then got on the road and drove to Las Vegas. We decided to stop in Vegas on our way back to break up the trip a little. After we had dinner, we put all the kids to bed and Tricia and I headed to the Anthropologie at Ceasar's Palace. Nothing like a little midnight shopping with your sister!

The next day we took the kids to M&M World and then to lunch at Serendipity 3.

Enjoying some yummy frozen hot chocolate!

We had a great time in California and Gigi couldn't wait to go back to Disneyland with her other set of cousins!

Disneyland: Day 3

Our last day at Disneyland we got rained on a little, but it made the park a little less busy. :) We of course had to get our picture in front of the castle...

It looks so cute all decked out for Christmas!

Gigi's favorite ride was of course the Ariel ride that we had to go on a few times everyday!

We had such a great time and can't wait to go back (which we did, a few weeks later with Adam's family!!!). Pics to come.

Disneyland: Day 2

On the 2nd day at Disneyland we met up with my oldest brother, Evan and his family. The girls went to eat lunch at Ariel's Grotto while the guys had lunch at the ESPN Zone. Here are all the kids taking their picture with Ariel...

Gigi just loved meeting all the princesses!

I just love how they light up 'It's A Small World' for Christmas! And this was one of Gigi's favorite rides!

Gigi's Polka Dot Room

I've had Gigi's room done for months now and I'm finally getting around to posting the pics for you. I decorated her nursery with pink and tiffany blue so I wanted to do something a little different to transition her to a big girl room. Gigi loves pink, so we kept pink in her room and added in grey and gold. Paint color is Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore (btw, I'm in love with this color).
The gold polka dots are made out of contact paper that I cut into circles using this circle cutter. This is a great alternative to wallpaper since it's not permanent (I know since I had to re-position a few of them). I decided to cover about 1 1/2 walls so the room wouldn't be overwhelmed with polka dots.
Husband made the bed out of 3 pallets screwed together and then we added wheels to the bottom. The pallets make the perfect size toddler bed! I did a little pattern mixing with her duvet cover and sheet set. The pink sham adds in a little texture and the tweed and gold pillow is from Target.
I made the polka dot art above her bed by cutting out circles from silver and gold scrapbook paper. I love how it mimics the larger polka dots on the wall. And the letters to spell her name were found at various thrift stores.  I mod-podged the large "G" and spray painted the others white to match her room.
And a view to the other side of the room. The dachshund night light is the same one we used in her nursery and I just love it!
The butterfly print is from IKEA and so is the shelving unit underneath it. The polka dot toy bins just add to the polka dot theme I kinda have going on in the room. :) The flower light is from IKEA and the rug is the same one we used in her nursery.
The shelving unit holds whatever toy Gigi is into playing with at the moment. Right now it's her princess doll house that I thrifted when we lived in Portland.
And a view to the other side of the room. I made the roman shades by following this tutorial. They were a little harder to make than Liam's curtains but I'm happy with how they turned out. And they are blackout shades which come in handy during the summer.
I kept her dresser pink which was nice since I didn't have to re-paint it. I also kept her "Breakfast at Tiffany's" print since it's one of my faves.
Her little handprint and footprint that we did when she was a baby.
I also thrifted her desk, which holds art supplies and coloring books. This girl just loves to paint!
And a close-up of the gallery wall. I thrifted the butterflies which I then spray painted gold of course!
The shelves are from IKEA and most of the stuff on them I found at various vintage stores. I painted the gold heart and framed some vintage skeleton keys.
Husband and I made the little framed heart using our thumbprints (which we also did in Liam's nursery).
I got the chalkboard print here and the gold rhino is from Target.
So that's it! I hope you enjoyed the tour ;)
Thanks for letting me share Gigi's room with you!
