Timberwolves Game

For Gigi's birthday, Adam got free tickets from work for the Timberwolves game. Here is Gigi before the game taking a pic with the cheerleaders. Clearly she's not impressed!

His agency has great seats, we were on the 2nd row!

Gigi of course had to get her favorite snack, cotton candy.

It was a fun night and a fun way to celebrate Gigi's birthday. 

Silly Face

Gigi loves to make silly faces. It has become her new favorite thing to do when I get out my camera, much to my dismay when I need her to just smile. :) So we had a little fun with this photo shoot and let her make all the silly faces that she wanted to!

A few weeks ago before church we decided to take some family pics...

Gigi's Frozen Birthday Party

Gigi's 4th Birthday Party. She wanted a Frozen party this year and I have to admit, I had a lot of fun with it! :)


Gigi loved helping me make the decorations, and I love how they turned out. I made the white paper chain backdrop and blue glittery birthday banner. I found snowflake felt stickers at the craft store and added glitter to them, since glitter always makes things cuter. :)



I also cut out circles from white paper - I got the idea from my cute cousin (thanks Elise!), sewed them together and hung them from the ceiling. It looked like Elsa made it snow just for the party! :)

For the food -- we had sandwiches, chips, blue jello 'ice cubes,' snowflake sugar cookies, and "do you want to build a snowman" treats.

The "build a snowman" treats (again, thanks Elise!) were a hit. You can get the printables here. The snowman parts are pretzel sticks, carrots, milk duds and powdered donut holes...

I just love how the cake turned out! I didn't make it but I did make the candy ice crystals and added them to the top, along with Elsa and Anna.

It was a fun party and Gigi loved it, she's still talking about it and she's already telling me what she wants for next year! 

Four Years Old (Gigi's Yearly Photo)

Gigi turned four on February 19th. Her yearly stats are:

Height: 36.5 inches; 2nd percentile

Weight: 28 lbs; 2nd percentile

I can't believe my little Gigi is four years old! She is such a sweet little girl who loves all things girly! She loves Disney princesses (her favorites are Ariel, Rapunzel & Elsa), My Little Pony, playing dress-up, and her American Girl Doll -- whom she named Princess Olivia! Her favorite colors are purple and pink. She loves to wear skirts and necklaces. She loves to watch YouTube toy reviews on the iPad. She is such a good sister to Liam and loves to play with him and give him hugs n' kisses. She also loves to help me in the kitchen and especially loves to help me bake cookies. She is also a little perfectionist (like her mother!). She is always organizing her toys and she makes sure they get put away in the right toy bin - much to her mother's delight! Here are her yearly photos, she picked out her outfit and had to wear a necklace and her hair wavy...

Gigi Turns 4

Gigi turned four on February 19th. The day and night before she was sick but luckily she woke up feeling a little better. We opened presents with daddy before he had to go to work. Liam had fun helping his big sister open presents...
