Utah Visit - Temple Open House

Gigi and I then drove back to the Craw's to spend a few days with them before we had to drive home. We were able to go to the Brigham City Temple Open House with Anne and Mark and their kids. All I can say was it was incredibly beautiful and neat to walk through it with the kids. Afterwards we of course had to eat dinner at Maddox. :)

Gigi, I and Buddy then took a little road trip with Grandma and Georgia and drove home to Portland. We stopped and spent a night in Pendleton, OR on the way to break up the trip for Gigi (and the rest of us too!). Gigi was a trooper and did really good in the car. Thanks Grandma and Georgia for such a fun road trip!!

Duck Duck

A few weeks ago we went for a Sunday walk to Laurelhurst park so Gigi could see the ducks. Gigi loves any and all animals so she had a great time watching the ducks swim by.

Where are the ducks Gigi? There they are!

bye-bye ducks, see you later
Buddy liked barking at the ducks
We then took a little walk around the park and of course had to play some crazy games with Gigi. If you know Gigi then you know she loves wild games - and the wilder the better!

Utah Visit - Mickelsen Family

We spent a few days in Park City (Aug 7-10) with Jessica's family in a large home that we rented. The guys went golfing a few times and the girls went shopping. I forgot to take pics of our time there but we had a great time hanging out together. We took turns making meals and even watched season 1 & 2 of Downton Abbey when the kids went to bed!

I went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point with Tricia, Allison and all our kids. The cousins had a great time exploring and hanging out together.

My mom and I were able to go to Education Week for a half day (thanks to Grandpa for watching Gigi!). We met up with my Aunt Pam and Uncle Roger and went to some great classes.

We then met up with Grandpa and Gigi and had dinner at Los Hermanos.

Making yummy s'mores at Grandma and Grandpa's new fire pit.

My dad had a bunch of old files and records and of course the kids loved to help burn them.

Wild and crazy games with Grandpa!

Thanks so much Mom and Dad, we had a great time with you!

Little Swimmer

Last month Gigi and I took mommy and me swimming lessons together. Gigi loved getting in the water everyday and especially playing with all the toys. The weather was perfect so I'd bring lunch to enjoy at the pool after each lesson.

lunch time!

Utah Visit - Craw Family

After we got back from Las Vegas we spent a few more days with Adam's family. Adam flew in to take some much needed vacation time. We had a great time relaxing and even got to get in the hot tub a few times. Gigi loved swimming in the hot tub!

Viva Las Vegas: Day 5

DAY 5
Our last day in Vegas was of course spent at the pool. What else can you do in over 100 degree weather!?! Here's Gigi trying on Grandma's straw hat...

a little break for a snack

she's all smiles playing with Grandma :)

Gigi loved jumping into the pool and having Grandma catch her
love the expression on her face when she hits the water :)

Me and my little girl

We had such a fun time in Vegas and it was great for Gigi to spend so much time with her cousins, Grandma and aunt. It was great to have some girl time to go shopping and stay up late watching both seasons of Downton Abbey! We hope to be able to go again next year. :)
