Elsa & Olaf

This year Gigi wanted to be Elsa for Halloween and she wanted Liam to be Olaf. I found Gigi's Elsa dress online and made Liam's shirt and hat and I think they both turned out pretty cute! :)  Here's my pretty little Princess Elsa...

and my cute little Olaf!

my two little Frozen cuties!

Last weekend, we went to our ward Halloween party at our church and the kids had a great time. They played games, decorated cookies, colored, and got candy of course! Here's a pic they took of us that night --Adam was out of town.

Hope you all have a Happy Halloween!!!

Frozen Pumpkins

We carved our pumpkins the other night and Gigi of course wanted an Elsa pumpkin! I showed a few different designs to Liam and he wanted an Olaf pumpkin, much to his sister's delight! Here they are with their Frozen pumpkins...

I  carved Elsa and Adam did Olaf, I think they turned out pretty darn cute. :)

And I think Gigi is pretty happy with her pumpkins this year!!!

Halloween Jammie Time!

I love to get the kids matching Halloween jammies every year and of course I had to get pics of them! Gigi had to start out by taking a silly picture...

I tried to get of pic of each of them, but only got Gigi since Liam was too busy!

Gigi just loves her little brother :)

Neutral Halloween Decor

For last year's Halloween decorations, I used black and white. This year, I wanted to change it up a little and use a neutral color palette. So when I spotted these cute marquee letters at Michaels, I knew they'd be perfect (and I got them with a 40% off coupon)!

I added some flowers made out of brown paper bags (I followed this tutorial) and they were super easy and fun to make. And they add a nice impact above my mantel.

I also made some glittery leaf garland and I love how it turned out! I got a bag of fabric leaves at the dollar store and used mod podge to glue different colors of glitter onto them. Really adds a little bling to my mantel. And another bonus is that it can stay up for Thanksgiving too!

I used my mercury glass pumpkins again. I've had these for a few years now and still love them so much! I can switch up my colors and these always seem to work. Can't recommend them enough!

And a view so you can see the whole space.

Another little vingette in the room. More pumpkins and mercury glass of course. :)

And more neutral decor for the other side of the room.

Eek!!! I just love how it turned out and Gigi loves helping me turn on the letters everyday!

Eighteen Months Old (Liam's Monthly Photo)

Liam turned eighteen months old on October 11th.

Liam is talking more and more each day! He's at that stage now where only his mom, dad and Gigi can understand what he's saying -- and to everyone else it sounds like gibberish. He loves the water and bath time, and the other day he started putting his face in the water (which Gigi is still scared to do!). He loves books and loves having me read to him. He's getting harder and harder to photograph in his chair since he won't sit still for very long. :)  Here are his monthly photos...
