Reeder's New Pool!

Adam's sister just put in a new pool so of course we had to visit and put it to use!

Liam even enjoyed getting in the water!

Just the girls and kids spent 3 days at Anne's house and we basically spent those 3 days in the pool. Gigi just loved playing with her cousins! And she grew so much more comfortable in the water during that time too, almost too comfortable. :)

Liam was good and took naps under the umbrella

another nap so mommy can get in some sun time!

Thanks so much Anne for hosting us at your house. We had such a fun time and can't wait for next year!

The last night there we of course had to have an adults only dinner at Le Nonne, which is my fave Italian restaurant!

Brunch & Temple

While in Utah, we were treated to a fancy and delicious brunch at the Grand America. I've never seen so much food! They had anything and everything to eat and if you didn't see it they could make it for you. Everything was so so yummy and we had a great time.

After brunch, we went for a walk around the temple grounds and took a tour of the conference center

Liam's Blessing

While we were in Utah we blessed Liam on July 13th. It was a special day and I'm so glad that most of Adam's family and my family could be there. My mom was sweet enough to host the event at their house and we had a yummy brunch complete with pancakes, fruit, muffins, cinnamon twists, bacon, and waffles. Everything was delicious!

Here are some pics of my little boy on his special day...

Summer Utah Visit

In July we visited Utah to see both our families there. The first night we arrived we had dinner at Chuck-a-Rama. Gigi was in cousin heaven! Here she is eating some dessert with her cousin Ella...

The next night we had an adults only dinner at The Tree Room at Sundance. Dinner was delicious and we even had our own private room!

On Saturday we blessed Liam and Sunday was my parents farewell. They are leaving for a 2 year mission to Berlin. My mom hosted a get-together after church where we had a yummy Cafe Rio salad. Of course I forgot to take pics. :(

We spent a few more days with my parents and had a few more get-together's with my family. We had a lot of fun on my brother Evan's new rock wall...

Then we went to spend some time with Adam's family. I never thought I would be the parent that buys character anything but Gigi saw this bathing suit at Target and I caved. Oh well, it makes her happy. :)

Gigi loved it when Grandpa pushed her in the car with Buddy!

Three Months Old (Liam's Monthly Photo)

Liam turned three months old on July 11th. I forgot to take his pics that day until it was after 8 PM so I lost good lighting. And I was leaving to visit Utah super early the next day. So I decided to antique them to disguise the bad lighting. Oh well, at least I got them.

Liam continues to grow and pack on the pounds. I love his little chunkiness!!! He is so alert and loves to give smiles to everyone, especially Gigi. He is starting to discover his hands and loves to put them in his mouth. He is sleeping better but still wakes up once or twice a night. Here are his monthly photos...

Field of Dreams

For our road trip to St. Louis and Nauvoo, Gigi and Liam were both so good in the car. I was worried that Liam would be crying most of the time but he did great! We left Nauvoo early in the morning and stopped to grab some powdered donuts and OJ for breakfast.

We stopped at Dyersville, Iowa which was the movie site for Field of Dreams. I was surprised to see how many people were there, since the movie came out in 1989.

In front of the house

People were playing ball so Adam got to hit!

Gigi and her daddy scoring a run

There were even guys dressed up as baseball players from the movie. As we were leaving they were getting ready to play a game with anyone who wanted to play. We had to get on the road otherwise I'm sure Adam would have joined in. :)
