Gigi's Baptism

On April 14th Gigi was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I am so happy for her choice to be baptized. It was such a special day and we were glad that Adam's parents could come to see it!

Gigi's cute primary president made this for her and she loved it!

We love you Gigi and are so proud of you!!!

Five Years Old (Liam's Yearly Photo)

Liam turned five on April 11th. His monthly stats are:
Height: 43.0 inches; 51st percentile
Weight: 42.7 lbs; 64th percentile

My little Liam is five years old! Liam loves all things Star Wars, superheroes, and most recently Ben 10. He also loves doing puzzles and helps me put together large ones with 750 pieces or more. He is also starting to get into Legos and loves to build and put them together. His favorite animals are gorillas and dragons. He is a sweet little boy who loves to give lots of hugs and kisses to mommy and daddy. Here are his monthly photos...

and some silly faces...

New York: Day 3

On our 3rd day in NYC we went to Chelsea Market to get breakfast. It was such a fun place to explore and we each had a bagel with fresh strawberries.

Next we walked the High Line...

then we saw the Flatiron Building...

and Washington Square Arch...

Then we had pizza for lunch and headed back to the hotel to relax.

We grabbed some sushi for dinner and then headed to Times Square...

Then we went to see Hamilton!!!

we had great seats up on the mezzanine...

This was my 2nd time seeing it and it was even better than the first! Adam loved it too!!
We packed a lot into our three days in the city but we had such a wonderful time. I already can't wait to go back!

New York: Day 2

On our 2nd day in the city we went to see the 9/11 Memorial & Museum which is located at the site of the former twin towers. The Museum was very well done and also very emotional to walk through but well worth visiting.

This exhibit was by Spencer Finch called Trying to Remember the Color of the Sky on That September Morning...

We then walked towards Wall St and saw Trinity Church on the way...

This is where Alexander and Eliza Hamilton are buried...

Charging Bull...

Fearless Girl (and a statue haha!)...

and the New York Stock Exchange...

Then we took the free ferry to Staten Island...

and saw the Statue of Liberty along the way...

us with Lady Liberty...

We then took the subway to Brooklyn and grabbed some hot chocolate...

Then we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge...

One of my favorite views of the city... I would never grow tired of this view!

We grabbed dinner in China Town... dim sum of course!

And headed back to our hotel after a long day. We stayed in Midtown so Grand Central Station was just a few blocks away. And of course I had to get a macaron for dessert!!
