Memorial Day

For Memorial Day we went to a friends house from our church. They own horses and a donkey and the kids loved feeding them and helping take care of them!

We had a potluck BBQ and it was a fun day spent with friends!

Student of the Month

 Gigi was chosen student of the month for May and we are so proud of her! Here she is getting her certificate from the principal....

Spring Gymnastics

Gigi has been taking gymnastic classes and loves them! Her favorites are the uneven bars and the balance beam. Here's a pic of her after she completed a session of classes...

Field Day

We got home from Europe just in time to attend Gigi's Field Day at her school. I always love this day, it's so fun seeing Gigi compete and interact with her friends at school. Her first event was a bean bag toss...

And her final event was the long distance run around the entire field. Such a fun day!

France: Last Day in Paris

Our last day in Paris we decided to slow it down and just enjoy the city. We walked around, shopped a little (or a lot!) and had some yummy food!

Anne and I decided to get a Neverfull from Louis Vuitton since they are quite a bit cheaper overseas. Thanks Adam and Mark!!!

After wandering around some more we grabbed our last Parisian dinner. I had scallops and Adam had chicken and fries. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful trip :)

I fell in love with Paris and can't wait to go back!!!

France: Notre Dame, Louvre & Seine Cruise

Today was our 13th wedding anniversary and it was a full day! We started the day renting some bikes and then biking to Notre Dame. It was a fun way to explore Paris!

After touring inside the cathedral, we grabbed sandwiches at a nearby deli and ate them outside.

We then walked to Ile St Louis and the Latin Quarter for *a little bit* of ice cream!

And then walked to Sainte Chapelle. Here's a cute bridge along the way!

Inside Sainte Chapelle, the stained glass windows were amazing!

Then we walked to Pont Neuf Bridge...

And on to the Louvre!

For our anniversary, we put a lock on a bridge and threw the key in the Seine!

Then we met up with the rest of our crew and went on a sunset cruise down the Seine

 Then we got back on our bikes and headed back to our Airbnb. Love this cute pic of Anne :)
