New York: Day 2

On our 2nd day in the city we went to see the 9/11 Memorial & Museum which is located at the site of the former twin towers. The Museum was very well done and also very emotional to walk through but well worth visiting.

This exhibit was by Spencer Finch called Trying to Remember the Color of the Sky on That September Morning...

We then walked towards Wall St and saw Trinity Church on the way...

This is where Alexander and Eliza Hamilton are buried...

Charging Bull...

Fearless Girl (and a statue haha!)...

and the New York Stock Exchange...

Then we took the free ferry to Staten Island...

and saw the Statue of Liberty along the way...

us with Lady Liberty...

We then took the subway to Brooklyn and grabbed some hot chocolate...

Then we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge...

One of my favorite views of the city... I would never grow tired of this view!

We grabbed dinner in China Town... dim sum of course!

And headed back to our hotel after a long day. We stayed in Midtown so Grand Central Station was just a few blocks away. And of course I had to get a macaron for dessert!!
