Over Labor Day weekend we went to the Minneapolis State Fair. If you ask me, it isn't officially summer without a visit to the fair! And a visit to the fair is not complete without gorging yourself with lots of FOOD! We started the day with some yummy cronuts (a croissant-donut hybrid) -- they were delicious!
Gigi had lots of fun on all the rides. I think we let her choose five rides but of course she wanted to go on more!
The little girl next to Gigi was terrified to go on the ferris wheel by herself so she wanted Gigi to go with her. My little daredevil had no problems!

Liam was really good and slept most of the day.
We had some other fair food including an italian sandwhich, comet corn (liquid nitrogen formed caramel corn), and chocolate malts! I of course forgot to take pics of everything. We had to end our visit to the fair with cotton candy. Here's Gigi enjoying it on the ride home.
We can't wait to go back next year!

How fun! Gigi looks so cute on all of the rides and she is brave to go on the Ferris Wheel - those things still scare me! Looks like a great outing!
