Trick-or-Treat

This was Gigi's first year of actually going trick-or-treating and she loved it since she went with her cousins! Even though she had her Ariel costume, she decided last minute that she wanted to wear this Sleeping Beauty dress (thanks Aunt Tricia!). The dress was a little big on her but it made her happy. :)

Pumpkin Carving

This year we carved pumpkins with my sister, Tricia and her family. They always go all out with pumpkin carving so I had to follow suit. Gigi of course picked out Ariel for me to carve in her pumpkin (sorry Liam, mama was only carving one pumpkin this year). Here we are getting ready to start the carving.

I must say that I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially for my first one! Adam and I usually do some sort of easy jack-o-lantern face.

Gigi just loved her Ariel pumpkin! I think next year we'll continue the tradition and let the kids pick out a cute design to carve. :)

Halloween Costumes

The kids got to wear their costumes four different times while in Utah so we got a lot of use out of their costumes this year! Gigi of course wanted to be Ariel, her favorite Disney princess.

Gardner Village

We went to Gardner Village with Adam's mom and grandma to see all the witches. It is always decorated so cute for Halloween and it gives the kids a chance to wear their costumes! Georgia and I walked around to snap pics while Grandma Jim waited for a table at the restaurant.

After lunch at Archibalds, we did a little shopping of course! And I took some more pics of the kids.

Gigi loved ringing the big bell with Grandma, but it was a little loud!

Will Crawl for iPad

While we were in Utah, Liam finally crawled at 6 months. Of course the thing that made him want to crawl was the iPad!

Fun at Grandma Craws

This October, we spent 3 weeks in Utah visiting family. Adam came for a long weekend, then the kids and I stayed longer. Gigi had such a fun time playing with cousins and grandparents. The first part of the trip we stayed with the Craw's. Adam's sister came up for a few nights so we could spend time with them. Gigi was in cousin heaven! Here are her and Kate going for a ride on the wiggle car...

We had Craw Family pics taken earlier this summer when Adam and I visited in July. But since Adam's grandma wasn't there, Adam's mom wanted me to take some pics of the kids with her. I'm certainly no professional photographer but I think they turned out okay. And I think the kids will treasure these photos of their great grandma Jim when they get older.

And of course we had to get one of the grandkids with the bug! This was the last pic I took so the kids were all pretty much done with the camera at this point. But I love how it shows each of their cute personalities. :)

After we were done with pics, Grandpa and Grandma took the kids for a spin in the bug! Don't worry, they just went around the block.

Allison Visits

This past weekend my sister Allison came to visit! Her husband had a work conference here in Minneapolis so Allison decided to come with him so she could visit us. She brought her youngest, Evelyn, and we had a great time together.

The first day we went to the Mall of American and did a little shopping. That night we had Jon over for pizza and apple crisp. The next day Allison and I went out to lunch with the kids and then to Minnehaha Falls. I forgot to take pics but luckily Allison had her phone with her so she took some. 

I had a great time and I'm so glad she came out to see us! Gigi keeps asking where aunt Allison and Evie Marie are. :)
