Gigi's Painting Party

Gigi loves to paint so for her Birthday this year she wanted to have a painting party. We had it at a local art studio near our house which made it super easy on me! Here's the table all set up for her guests to color a sheet as everyone arrives.

Then they put on smocks and got ready to paint! They each got to pick a canvas to paint and Gigi picked a peace sign.

They all had a great time as little artists!

We then had pizza and cupcakes and sang to the Birthday Girl! Here's Gigi getting ready to blow out her candle...

I made rainbow cupcakes to go along with the painting theme and thought they turned out pretty cute!

And the kids loved biting in to them and seeing all the colors!

They played for a bit with some dress-up costumes and each of them helped color a birthday poster for Gigi to take home...

Then, Gigi got to open up her presents!

They each got to take home a gift bag filled with lots of little goodies: notebook, crayons, paint splatter tattoos, paint palette sucker, playdoh and a bouncy ball.

It was such a fun party and Gigi had a great time and got lots of presents! And I loved it since there was no mess to clean up! :)

Six Years Old (Gigi's Yearly Photo)

Gigi turned six on February 19th. Her yearly stats are:

Height: 41.3 inches; 1st percentile

Weight: 35 lbs 8 oz; 3rd percentile

I can't believe my little girl is already six! Gigi is all girl! She loves to wear dresses, play with all things princess, Barbie and My Little Pony. She also discovered Shopkins and had amassed quite the collection! She loves going to kindergarten and has made lots of friends. She loves to paint, color and draw and she loves drawing pictures for Liam. She also started taking gymnastics and loves the uneven bars and balance beam. Here are her yearly photos...

Gigi's Turns 6!

Grandma and Grandpa Craw came to visit us for Gigi's Birthday! We had a great time shopping, eating out, and spending time together. And the kids love having them around! Here's Grandpa (or 'Boca' as Liam like to call him, no idea why!?) rough housing with them...

After school Gigi got to open up her presents, and of course Liam wanted to help! She got some Peppa Pig toys and a Little Mermaid Lego set.

That night Gigi chose to go to Rainforest Cafe for her Birthday Dinner. Liam would get a little scared every time it would 'rain' and snuggle into 'Boca.'

We then went to the Disney Store so Gigi could pick out a Birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa. And I had to have them put her Birthday up on the big screen and sing to her!

Student of the Month

Gigi was student of the month during February and we are so proud of her! She was recognized for excelling in reading and was given a certificate during one of the student assemblies. Here she is receiving it from the Principal...

Adam's Birthday

Adam's birthday was on February 2nd and we celebrated with some yummy cupcakes! The kids had to blow out a candle too, of course!
