Visit to Utah: Rocking Horse

I took pics of the kids on the rocking horse that used to be Adam's when he was a kid. They had fun bouncing and rocking on it!

And for another comparison shot, here's Gigi on the same horse when she was about Liam's age (Liam-15 mos, Gigi-17 mos)

Visit to Utah: Ragnar

I've wanted to run the Ragnar Relay for a few years and this year I finally got to! For those not familiar with Ragnar it's a team of 12 people (split into two vans) and you each take turns running relay style from Logan to Park City. Each runner has three legs and the total miles of the entire course is 196.5 miles. The total distance of my three legs was 19.3 miles.

Here are Anne and I training a few days before the race. I trained solo in Minneapolis so it was a lot of fun to have a running partner :)

Thursday night before the race we went out to eat at Olive Garden with the girls in our van. I ran with my two sisters, my sister in law and two girls that my sisters knew. We had such a fun group of girls!

After dinner we went to Anne's house to decorate the car. Our team name was 'Where the Wild Things Run' and I think the car looked pretty cute - thanks to Tricia and Emily for the decorations!

I'm so glad I was able to run Ragnar and would love to do it again! It was hard and tiring and I didn't get much sleep but it was all worth it. I ran with such a fun group of girls and had some much needed girls time. Huge thanks goes out to my mother in law for watching my kids so I could do this. I appreciate it so so much! Thanks again!

Visit to Utah: Pool Days

We spent a lot of days at aunt Anne's pool, which was fine by me! And of course the kids had a blast too. I don't think Gigi ever wanted to leave. She had such a great time swimming and playing with her cousins.

All I need is a dirty Dr. Pepper and some sun and I'm a happy girl! It was nice to have a few relaxing days before I ran Ragnar (post to come!). :)

Visit to Utah: Cars Ride

At the end of June, the kids and I traveled to Utah for a visit. Gigi and Liam had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Craw's house! I think one of their favorite things was riding in this little jeep with Kate. :)

and I thought it would be fun to compare a pic of Gigi in the same car at about the same age (Liam-15 mos, Gigi-17 mos)

 but Liam kept climbing back into the jeep, he just couldn't get enough of it!

Fourteen Months Old (Liam's Monthly Photo)

Liam turned fourteen months old on June 11th.

Liam has picked up a few new words: bah-bah (bottle), shoes, ball. But he mostly just squeals and makes noises to tell us what he wants! Gigi has taught him to say 'cheers' and clink their sippy cups together, which is pretty cute. :) He is a very busy baby and still into everything. He's also a little climber, always trying to climb up on the furniture. Here are his monthly photos...
