Joy to the World

I wanted to share our home all decorated for Christmas and a little project I did. For a few years now I've wanted to make some marquee letters, I've just never had anywhere to put them. So now that our first home has a mantel and fireplace I finally decided to go for it! I followed this tutorial and it was pretty easy. The hard part was finding the time to do it. :)

I also added pre-lit garland and some pine trees on either end.

And these cute little mason jar snow globes!

And here's our tree. I decided to go with silver, gold and white since I wanted a neutral look this year.

I made the ruffled garland by sewing two strands of crepe paper together. It was super easy and you can find tons of tutorials on YouTube.

Another little vignette of trees and reindeers. I made the trees out of old music sheets a few years back.

I just love how the letters light up the room and bring JOY to our home!
