Gigi's First Day of 1st Grade

Gigi's first day of 1st grade was on August 29th. She's excited to go back to school and see all of her friends from Kindergarten. 

Gigi Rides a Bike!

This summer Gigi learned how to ride a bike! For the past year or so she's been riding this balance bike, which made it so easy to transition to a regular bike.

With about 15 mins or so of help from Daddy, she was ready to go on her own. I couldn't believe how fast she picked it up!

Rolf's Funeral

 My best friend's dad (Rolf) passed away on August 24th. He was like my 2nd dad growing up. I was able to fly home to Boise for the funeral. Most of my group of friends that I had grown up were there so it was a bittersweet reunion. We forgot to take a pic until later so not all of them are pictured!

after the funeral we all gathered at the Bitsch's house (which Rolf would have loved!). Heather, Tricia and I also went on a late night Target run and all got matching shirts and leggings!!
