Gigi's First Feeding

The doctor gave us the go ahead to start Gigi on solids (yay!). I started her out on rice cereal. She quickly spit it out, she did not like it at all! I hope we have better luck with other baby food!

Six Months Old (Gigi's Monthly Photo)

Gigi turned six months old on August 19th. Here are her monthly stats: 

Height: 25 inches; 20th percentile 

Weight: 13 lbs 8 oz; 10th percentile 

Head: 41 1/2 cm; 20th percentile

Gigi is now a little crawler and she is crawling all around the house and getting into everything! Just yesterday she crawled on top of the Roomba and bumped the 'on' button and got a little ride on it! She is also just about sitting up all by herself. She is an active little girl!

Day Trip to Santa Barbara

This past weekend we took a day trip to Santa Barbara. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful scenery, eating some great food, and exploring the town. We visited the Old Mission Church and explored the grounds. Then we headed to the main street for lunch and a little window shopping and walked down to the beach. It was a great day!

Rocking the Boat

After the Mickelsen family reunion, we got to spend a few days with Adam's family. We all had a great time boating, tubing, eating and Adam even got in some more golf (I know, hard to believe!). It was Gigi's first boat ride so of course we had to get some pics. Gigi did great on the boat and after awhile the sound of the motor put her right to sleep.

On our last night in Utah we went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse for some good food.
