And Gigi was in her first school talent show, dancing to 'Who Let the Dogs Out!' Soooooo incredibly proud of her!!! I was holding back tears as I watched her conquer her nerves and deliver a great performance in front of her whole school!

Gigi's 9th Birthday!

Gigi turned 9 on February 19th. Had to get some pics with her number balloon!

Gigi helped me make and decorate her cupcakes. She wanted a tropical theme and I think they turned out pretty cute!

She got to invite one friend and we went to an indoor activity course and they had lots of fun! It was a great birthday!!!

Christmas at Home

This year we went to Utah for Christmas so we had to open our presents early so I didn't have to bring them all with us! The night before the kids left this cute note for Santa...

Christmas Jammies

I love matching holiday jammies and have to get a pic of Gigi and Liam in them every year! Gigi picked them out and of course she wanted the onesie kind!

November Happenings

Just a few happenings in November...

A visit to the Minneapolis Institute of Art

Gigi and I matchy-matchy at church one Sunday...

...and the kids helping me trim the tree. I like to decorate before Thanksgiving so I can enjoy our Christmas tree a little longer :)

Halloween Costumes

This year Gigi and Liam wanted to dress up as characters from Star Wars and they even talked us into dressing up as well! It's been a long time since I've dressed up but it was a lot of fun to do a family theme costume. And of course I had to involve Buddy in it too!

So here we are... Chewbacca, Han Solo, Rey, BB-8 and Princess Leia!

I ran the Monster Dash half marathon again. I have been working hard on improving my pace and I got a new personal record! My time was 2:13:04 with a pace of 10'09". I really wanted to get my pace under the 10 min mark but I was happy to get a new PR (and I guess there's always next time)!
