Happy New Year 2019!

We had a fun New Year's party at Tricia's house with lots of games and yummy food! The kids had their own party downstairs and loved it.

Getaway in SLC

Adam booked a little getaway weekend in Salt Lake for one of my Christmas presents. We stayed downtown and went to see the lights at temple square. After we had dinner at Ruth's Chris, which was delicious!

We also had a couple massage and this yummy brunch. It was a super relaxing weekend and a nice little getaway!

Mickelsen Christmas

We spent the other half of our time with the Mickelsen's. We did our yearly tradition of reading the nativity story and having the kids dress up. Liam was Joseph and Gigi was a sheep.

Gigi had lots of sleepovers (which I didn't get pics of) and Liam had Dex over too.

Craw Christmas

We spent half of our time in Utah with the Craw's. Christmas Day the kids woke up to wonderful present from Bill and Georgia......
a trip to Hawaii!!!!!


We then opened up our presents but I forgot to take pics! Anne and I decided to go for a run since the weather was so nice. We had to wear our matching leggings!

Christmas Jammies Part II

We decided to do a family photo with everyone in Christmas jammies and I love it! I think it will become a yearly tradition now!

Utah: Layton Visit

We had lots of fun and lots to do at the Craw's house this summer! Gigi and Liam love swimming in the hot tub...

We had such a great time in Utah but are ready to be back home! 

Utah: Race and Parade

While I was with my family, my sisters and I ran the Speedy Spaniard 10k on the 24th of July. I have been training to improve my pace and my goal was to finish the race in under an hour. My time was 56:38 and my pace was 9:07 per mile! I was so happy since I shaved off over 6 mins from last year!

Gigi and Liam also ran the kids 1 mile race and they both did so good! It was the first race for both of them and I was so proud. Liam told me at the end that he was tired but he never gave up and just kept running!

After the race we all had to hurry since my brother in law James, had a float in the Spanish Fork 24th of July parade. Everyone helped out with dressing up and throwing out candy. I think the kids enjoyed giving out the candy more than eating it!

Utah: Elk Ridge Visit

I drove down south to spend some time with my family. Here's a car selfie of us (don't worry, I wasn't driving at the time!)...

We had a family date night at The Escape Key which was so much fun! We had to work together to solve a puzzle and we finished the hardest one they had!

Adam really wanted to take the kids to a soccer game since they loved soccer camp so much. It was a beautiful night for a game and the kids loved eating all the treats of course!

Tricia and I had to get a pic of all the family dachshunds, but we are missing little Maple. It was quite the production with Tricia holding up several pieces of ham behind me while I snapped lots of pics! :)
