Maui: Day 3 (Beach Day)

Still behind. Still playing catch up.

The next day we explored the other side of the island (Wailea) and went to the beach. It was a beautiful day with lots of sun! We snapped a few pics first...

and then I enjoyed some much needed time in the sun!

Adam took the kids snorkeling, which they didn't love because the water was too salty!

Liam having a snack break

Hayden and Liam having fun on the boogie boards...

The kids playing in the sand

Before we packed up we got a few more family shots on the beach. It was a perfect day!!

Maui: Day 1 & 2

In March of 2019 we went to Hawaii with Adam's family. We always go to the same place in Kaanapali called the Honua Kai. The first day was pretty rainy so mainly relaxed inside. I did go on my morning run since I love running along the beach!

That evening we walked around Lahaina and did a little shopping...

The next day was a little better so we got some pool time in!
My favorite view...

Maui Day 7 - Last Day in Paradise

Our last day in Maui we spent the morning at the pool. Our flight didn't leave until around 10pm that night so we had most of the day to play!

Gigi loved jumping to Kate!

Liam and Daddy playing in the water

Gigi and Aunt Anne

bathing beauties...

After a morning at the pool, we went back to our room to get cleaned up. Only they had mistakenly locked us out! So after a few calls we finally got back in our room.

Before going to the airport, we had to make one last stop for some gelato...

the view while enjoying my gelato...

It was such an incredible trip and we had such a wonderful time! It wouldn't have been possible without these two. Thanks for everything!!! And we can't wait until the next adventure! ;)

Maui Day 6

Our 6th day in Maui we drove North from Kaanapali to see the blowhole. Here's a cute pic of Grandma and Grandpa with all the grandkids...

We had to get pics of everyone with such a beautiful view!

the Reeders...

...and one of our family. The lighting kept changing and I forgot to double check my settings so it's a little blown out (darn it!).

Dave and Teresa had to leave to catch their flight but we drove up a little further so we could hike down to see the heart rock. It was a steep and rocky hike, but worth it! Here's the Reeders next to the heart rock...

Adam and I

and Bill with grandkids. Grandma stayed in the car with Gigi and Liam since the hike would have been pretty tough for them.

Having fun next to the blowhole!

We kept driving north to a little town called Kahakuloa for the best banana bread in Maui --Julia's Banana Bread--, it was yummy!

We then drove back to Lahaina to get some more shave ice. Here's Gigi and Liam playing around after we had our shave ice...
